Multiple sellers on eBay have the Rusty and Dusty Cars Movie Moments 2 pack up for sale. So are these out at retail anywhere? If they are, then the Flik and P.T. Flea Movie Moments should be out as well, as they are part of the same assortment. Update: it looks like the Flik and P.T. Flea movie moments 2 pack isn’t part of this assortment, so you may have to wait for those.
The price on the Rusty and Dusty 2 pack is only going to climb on eBay. Before you pay the high prices, know that soon they are just as likely to be found at retail, so my advice is to wait. Hopefully, they will start showing up soon and be easier to find than the Mia and Tia and Mr. and Mrs. King Movie Moments. I still have not been able to find those at retail yet.

Another Cars item listed as coming in December from Mattel is Pit Stop Racers. Each racer includes a die-cast vehicle with launcher.
It’s your favorite racers from the hit Disney/Pixar movie CARS, in the new Pit-Stop Racers Assortment. Connect the launchers to recreate Pit Crew Row, then send your character cars into high performance mode with a pow!
Assortment includes:
- Lightning McQueen
- The King
- Chick Hicks
- Octane Gain
- Leak Less
- Nitroade
Note that Octane Gain (shown in the image below) is listed in this assortment. If these make it to store shelves, this may be your only chance to get Octane Gain outside of the Target Exclusive Dinoco 400.

The word is out. Mattel is not slowing down with Cars. In fact, they are making plans to put out as many Cars as possible in 2007 and 2008. Retailers have received solicitations from Mattel regarding their plans for upcoming Cars. Several sites have been posting these lists, so I thought I would post my own. Check out my page on upcoming Cars here.
Thanks to Two a Day who posted their extensive upcoming Cars list here and also to 1 Stop Diecast who posted their list for 2008 here.
