Cars case T has been shipping to retailers this week, so start looking for it at a store near you. Indeed, it is already showing up on eBay, and has been found by many collectors already.
The only “new” Cars in case T are Axle Accelerator and Fred with Bumper Stickers. Axle Accelerator is 3 per case. “Stickers” Fred is 1 per case and limited to 20,000, making him a “chase” Car. You will see the “Chase” badge in the upper right corner of the cardback, the same as “Stickers” Lightning McQueen.
This is the second version of Fred we’ve gotten in the diecast line. This version is much smaller than the first one and puts him more in scale with the other Cars, as in the movie. It does, however, mean he is much smaller, resembling one of the mini Cars. In fact, at San Diego this year, Mattel actually had “Stickers” Fred displayed with the mini Cars, either accidentally or on purpose.
How hard will case T and “chase” Fred be to find? There are a lot of them on eBay right now, so I think they shouldn’t be too hard to find with a little patience.
One final note, case T is the last case for 2008. But don’t worry, Mattel likes to start the year early and should start shipping assortments for 2009 this Fall. Here is the full assortment of Cars in case T.

I had to look Hugo Fast up to see which character it was. Hugo Fast is the Nitroade Pitty, for those that don’t know. I guess we should expect to see it soon.
I had to look 3 times to make sure it wasn’t a mini when I found Fred Last week. He is much smaller than the previous version.
also- The blister cards for case T have Hugo Fast pictured on the back. I can’t wait to find him.
