In Cars movie news this week, Disney announced that Cars 2 is getting pushed up a year from summer 2012 to summer 2011. Reportedly, “the plot will feature Mater getting his passport as he and Lightning McQueen travel around the world.”
Sounds interesting, but this got me thinking, could I write a better movie? What about you? I have a lot of faith in Pixar, but they have only done one other sequel. That synopsis just doesn’t seem to fit the Cars universe. Hopefully, Pixar will prove me wrong.
Here’s my idea: “Cars 2: Electric Boogaloo.” The plot: Mater and Lightning McQueen try to stop a developer from bulldozing a Radiator Springs community recreation center. Discuss.
Cars 2 in race for radiator springs
fed up with being an disrespected chick hicks recruits all the villans from past disney movies to team up to take over radiator springs and the only way for lightning to get control back is to travel thru past movies and recruit the heros and challange the chick hicks and the villians in a race for radiator springs
With Lightning away on a European tour, the new R&C racing team has taken over the Piston Cup circuit with the circuits top two racers. Chick Hicks and Randy Rude. Rude isn’t just a new racer he is the owner of the worlds largest oil company Rude & Crude. R&C is trying to put its biggest competition out of business, Dinoco. Dinoco is losing business to R&C and losing money on a non productive racing team. Their new rookie driver, Chase Learner is consistantly dead last.
R&C in their conquest to own all the worlds oil, have discovered a new oil souce under Radiator Spings. They are buying out all the businesses in town, so they can tear them
and down and mine the area.
Lightning returns and has to team up with Chase to stop R&C and save Dinoco and Radiator Springs.

Hopefully they keep all the original characters involved.
My idea would be they start out at the newly rebuilt wagon wheel inn, Lightning’s hq, and travel to Europe to compete in road rally races and lemans style races. With Doc and Sarges off road help and Ramone’s modifications Lightning could be a winner. Filmore’s organic fuel would be a hit in Europe. Luigi and Guido would be of great help also. Of course Mater would find trouble tractor tipping.

Cars 2 -McQueen and the Bandit.
McQueen returns to Radiator Springs on his way to a race at the Texas Motor Speedway. He finds that Sally has rushed back to her tiny hometown in Texas, to help her mother resolve a mysterious and dire crisis.
McQueen and friends track Sally down and learn that years ago, she had been reluctantly engaged to Sheriff Buford G Fury’s grandson, but fled before the wedding. (The reason she drove and drove until she ended up in Radiator Springs)
McQueen rescues Sally and vows to win the race to save Sally’s mother.
They run into the aging black Trans AM “The Bandit”. They agree to help him with a bet he has with Big and Little Enos Corvette. They have less than 28 hours to get to Dinoco headquarters, fill Mack with 400 cases of their brand new extra synthetic oil, and return it to the Texas Motor Speedway before the race.
All the while being doggedly pursued by the Fury’s and meet a whole new cast of characters as they flee.
Cars 2: Radiator Springs Goes International:
Mqueen, Mater, and Sally go from Route 66 to
Italy, England, Germany, Sweeden, and Japan. Then they all come back, and the stadiam is done! But who will win?
