Mattel is trying to get as much Cars product out before the holidays as possible. For collectors, that means more Cars under the tree and a lighter wallet. So as you might expect, case C is coming right on the heels of case B.
New Cars in case C include Tumbleweed McQueen, White Walls McQueen, Trunk Fresh Pitty and another chase Car, Impound Snot Rod. These have not seen a wide release yet, and many stores are just now getting case B. But at least one seller on eBay has them in hand, so you can bet it won’t be too long before they will be available at a store near you. Here is the full case assortment.

I’m not sure they are trying to be sneaky. I saw the thing about no confetti on the blister. But the boot on the other tire for Snot Rod is movie accurate I believe and is what they showed at San Diego.
As you can see in the picture, Mattel is getting a bit sneaky with the chase car.
Notice the impound boot is on the inside tire and there is no confetti on the blister. Just the chase sign remains!

I’m in Texas, and I just saw these on the pegs of my local H-E-B.
