Case E is probably the last Cars case of 2008. For those of you with Cars fatigue, that’s a good thing. For everyone else, January is right around the corner, and it all starts over again!
New Cars in case E are Hank “Halloween” Murphy, Easy Idle Pitty and Chase Impound DJ. Here is a little background info on Hank from the Meet the Cars book.
Hank used to get into a lot of trouble in his younger years. He’d go drag racing and play chicken with his friends. Hank never lost a chicken race, because he had a problem with depth perception. He couldn’t tell that the other cars were getting bigger. He decided it was time to stop goofing around when he lost a curb feeler in a race. That was just a little too close.

Is Hank “Holloween” Murphy even in the movie? If so, where?
He is for about 2 seconds. He and other Cars like Greta and Dustin Mellows are in the Radiator Springs flashback sequence. Most of those Cars are only seen for a few seconds or so but they are there.
Found Hank “Halloween” Murphy here in Northern IL at target today. That was the only one out of case E that I had seen.

BTW, I haven’t seen the Haulers and Night Vision Mcqueen either. I am unemployed so I have the time to do the Target, Walmart, Toysrus sweep and I’ve yet to see them either so don’t fret our day is coming (even though I have hell to pay because I promised Gray to a 6 year old). I’m really thinking that “normal” folks don’t see these cases for at least 8 weeks. I just went to our local Walmart and they have Sally with Cone and that Case / End Cap. I went to Toys R Us and got Tank Coat Pitty and RPM Chief, but nothing in the last two cases that have been released.
Still trying to find case D in Dallas, I know it’s out at Target but it seems I’m always a little bit late and all the new cars are gone by the time I get there. I had more luck with the new launchers at Macy’s today, except the cards were a little messed up. Also still looking for Night Vision McQueen and haulers – where the @%!$* are they.
Same here in Knoxville, TN.
So far in northern Illinois, NONE of the new Cars are out. The newest Cars toy out here is Oversized Mack.
