Now that the Cars Haulers are finally showing up, I have to say I think they are great. I was able to pick up all of the first 3, and they are really great toys. Having said that, there are 2 new ones out there, Leak Less and Octane Gain.
These are now starting to show up on eBay, but it is rumored they will not be sold at mass market retail in the US. Obviously, if they are on eBay, then some small retailers are getting them. So it looks like your only option for getting these may be the Internet for now.
This brings up a pain point for us collectors of Cars, which is distribution. In some places, it has been good this year, and in other places, it has been really bad. I think we need to make our voices heard in order to get better distribution for Cars items.
One way we can do it is with our wallets. If sales are good, then stores will order more. Also, let store employees know you want these items when you see them. This is the best way, as the problem is not really with Mattel. In order for Mattel to get their product on the shelves, retailers have to place orders.

I also look every week at Target, Walmart, and Toys R Us…PLEASE, bring us more Cars!!
I hit the local Target and Wal-Mart weekly to see if they have anything new. When I buy cars most of the times I seem to get that extra long receipt which asks to take a survey. I always take the time to do that online hoping to win the gift card but it’s a great place to voice these same concerns. I always let them know that they need more of a selection and a great number in stock.
