Update – 7/2/09: I just found these at Toys R Us, so they are no longer Walmart only.
For some reason, the lenticular, or Look My Eyes Change, Cars are only showing up at Walmart right now. It seems that Mattel is only shipping them to Walmart for the time being. Only Mattel knows why this is and when they will show up at other stores.
At any rate, they should be showing up at your local Walmart soon if they haven’t already. I found them at a local Walmart this week. They seem to be pretty popular right now, as there were only a few left, and no chase Cars left of course. Are any of you guys interested in these?

i bought the last mcqueen in my walmart and when i opened it at home the darn thing had no eyes! we told our son he is sunglass mcqueen…
I’m only interested in Saluting Sarge………the rest can stay on the pegs. At one per case, might be a challenge to find him. We found a fresh case of them on the pegs at WM last weekend, but someone had made off with Sarge.
I’ve seen the lenticular Cars, but not any that move their eyes; they have only opened and closed. Has anyone seen the eyes move? Thanks.

Our Walmart got in 3 cases of the lenticulars… A friend got me one of each minus the Cruisn McQueen which I didn’t want… I stopped at that Walmart Sunday afternoon, and there were 20 McQueens and 1 Doc left. I may pick up the main ones from Radiator Springs and the Tunerz, but I will not be buying all of them. The gimmick isn’t worth the extra $1 per Car.
I think that these Cars will sell pretty well at first, but it won’t be long until they are clogging up valuable peg space. Lightning McQueen will be the worst, since nearly half the case is of him.
