Here are the details. Rescue Squad Mater with Dalmation Mia and Tia will be sold for $30 USD each at San Diego Comic Con from July 22 to July 26. There is a buying limit of six. That is 6 per person for the entire show, not 6 per day.
If you cannot make it to Comic Con, as most of you probably can’t, Rescue Squad Mater will be sold online at mattycollector.com, just like Lightning Storm McQueen was last year. The set will be sold Monday, August 3, 2009 12 PM ET, a week after SDCC is over. This is the same time Mattel’s other SDCC exclusives are going on sale, so if you are interested in those as well you may be able to save on shipping.
For those of you keeping score, Rescue Squad Mater will be sold at retail, also just like Lightning Storm McQueen, although it will be a different version. The retail version will have a different paint job, and the ladder will not extend.
