Last Fall, we got a great new line of Cars called Story Tellers. Many of the new Cars released were not based on the Cars movie, but on 5 new stories released as one collection, called the World of Cars. The Story Tellers were exclusive to Target. As you may remember, they were very popular with collectors and were hard to find for many of us. And then they were gone in a flash.
Well, Mattel knows when they got a good thing going, and as a result, Story Tellers are coming back to Target this Fall! And you know there will be new Cars to collect. The new Cars will be Bubba and the Cousins from “Hoodwinked” and the Motorama Girls from “Showstopper.” Here are some pics of the new Cars (courtesy of Cars the Toys Forum.) Here’s last years post and assortments on the Target Story Tellers. I assume that the Motorama Girls will be in a 3 pack, as well as the cousins. Bubba is massive so my guess is he will be a single or something else. Last year, the story tellers showed up about October, so it won’t be long!
