New Final Lap Cars are now showing up at Targets across the US. The only 2 new Cars in this assortment are Antonio Veloce Eccellente and Dexter Hoover with checker flag. Dexter Hoover saw a previous release under the World of Cars desert background, but that version had a yellow flag. This is the version with the checkered flag. Here are pictures of these 2 Cars.

I know that there is one planned for 2010. It comes with an exclusive Dragon Mcqueen (from the Tokyo Mater short.) I have not heard when it will be out.
Saw AVE and Dexter w/checkered flag in Gulf Coast Target today – of course, Target is charging $4.99 for the so-called Final Lap Cars. Just another example of up-charging for packaging. I did buy AVE – but The Boy and I will make do with our yellow flagged Dexter just fine and spend our $5.00 elsewhere.
Shopping at TRU today. They had the lenticular 3 packs with Dexter (checker flag), Lightning McQueen, and Damaged King. New side to side eyes. Also had Antonio with Michael and the his other green Macerati Italian friend.
