Update: I just realized that this is the 300th post on Cars Toys Blog. This is a huge milestone, and I just want to say thanks to the readers! You guys are the reason the site exists, and I just want to thank each and every one of you for making it possible. Thanks!
Here is a look at the upcoming Final Lap Marlon “Clutches” McKay.
Here is Marlon’s bio from the Pixar Wiki.
When you’re cornered by a mob of fierce paparazzi, there’s none better to call than Marlon “Clutches” McKay. A twenty year service veteran whose time was spent largely as an armored troop carrier, Marlon traded in his bulletproof glass to pursue his dream of becoming a Motor Speedway of the South Security Team Leader. He loves nothing better than locking grilles with nosy camera sidecars and personally showing them the exit.
Marlon with moving eyes is out now, but the Final Lap version is out overseas and presumably will be in the US shortly. Click here to search for this on eBay.

On our trip to So FL, I saw Marlon “Clutches” McKay in several Targets – and here on the northern Gulf Coast in both Targets and Wal-Marts, all lenticular. I finally bought one in desperation because “The Boy” wanted that one – and he LOVES the “googly” eyes. I’m glad he does – they just mess up the car for me.
I only found lenticular Marlon Clutches McKay at Target.
This is the 300th post, and I remember the 100th post. Just wondering, where is the 200th post? Please tell me where. Also, I’ve noticed that after a while, you close comments in a post. Why?
Heh. I don’t know. I would have to count backwards to find it really.
I’ve set comments to close automatically on posts after a year. The reason is spammers. Comment spammers usually try posts that are old. There’s hardly any reason to leave comments open on posts over a year old anyway. Thanks.
I counted backwards, and I think this is the 200th post. It’s about Tokyo Mater. Type it in the URL search bar on the top of the computer screen.

I found McKay (eyes) at a Target in Boca Raton – my first find down here in So FL. Will be out and about again, maybe this afternoon. The Boy is at a birthday party – we just held the Flo/Wedding Day Ramone (StoryTellers) wedding on our race track this morning. The Dinoco Showgirls were the Flower Girls and the Motorama Girls were the Brides Maids – and Tex Dinaco was the father of the Bride. Flo and WD Ramone are now traveling to the races at Daytona in their borrowed Mac carrier. This child should write some Cars shorts.
I just hate that in the final lap series is priced at $5 a piece. While the lenticular “eyes” stay put around an average price of $3-3.50.
Fantastic! Can’t wait to return my “eyes” Marlon! I really hope to see an end to them, and a return to the normal line with standard eyes, even if it means waiting for Target to put out a new case of these Final Lap cars.
