A gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is quite simply an avatar image that follows you from blog to blog appearing beside your name when you comment on gravatar enabled sites. Signing up for a gravatar.com account is FREE, and all that’s required is your email address. Once you’ve signed up you can upload your avatar image and soon after you’ll start seeing it on Cars Toys Blog!

Blog Registration

Now you can register your profile on Cars Toys Blog. There is a sign in area in the sidebar. If you are already a member, you can sign in there. If you are not a member, you can easily register. This allows you to create and edit your profile on Cars Toys Blog. Also, you can leave comments without having to re-enter your information every time.

Forums

Check out Cars Toys Forums at http://carstoysblog.com/bb/. I suggest everyone check it out because I have been posting news there you won’t find on the blog. A benefit of being a registered member here is that you can use your same login for the forums! So you don’t need to register again.

Community

Once you register, your profile is publicly displayed on the community page. Visitors can vote on your profile page, in addition to leaving you comments.

Get Updates

Get updates to Cars Toys Blog by subscribing to the RSS feed or signing up for updates via e-mail. There will also soon be an e-newsletter with unique content. If you are interested, sign up by visiting the contact form and click on the dropdown for “sign up for our e-mail newsletter.”

Comment Notifications

Now, when you leave a comment on the blog, you can be notified by e-mail of follow up comments. All you have to do is select the checkbox below the comment form, and you will receive an e-mail every time someone leaves a comment after that.
