what a great page, thanks for putting this together. Great to see up and coming cars!!! First visit to this page, so I’ve had a good explore and read some of the comments. Over the past few months I have begun to understand why I can never find different cars!!!! This is, in my opinion down to collectors grabbing them up and flogging them for ridiculous sums. Either that or collecting, leaving in boxes, ” I have all of them” , “mint condition” blah blah blah.
My boy is 4 years old and loves Disney cars, everything is lightning this lightning that!! We have been everywhere hunting new cars, so he can PLAY with them. We have hundreds!!!! But there are always the elusive ones. Tractors!!!! Bessie!!! etc
I nearly succumb to paying 17 notes for mike and sully. However my wife found them in T K Max just yesterday. Bargain bin toys!!! 2.99!! Oh yeah, there were 2 packs of them!!! She bought both for less than 6 notes!!!! Will we sell the other on E bay????
NO!! We gave it to my little boys cousin, who also loves cars. Happy playing boys!!! We also found a Desert packaging Sarge (Ebay £24) in an Argos bin end box!!! And we play with that 2!!!!!

I can’t help to wonder why Mattel has gotten away from a good steady flow of new cars. I see the same stock hanging on the pegs for weeks at a time,mostly lenticular. This comes from someone who has every car,except lenticular, still unopened in mint condition. I’m almost tired of searching anymore cause I’m tired of seeing the same old cars.Is everyone else noticeing this? Because as a avid collector my money is on original cars only.I say nonate all those lenticular peg wasters to Toys for Tots and get back to basics.
I totally agree with this. I’m definitely losing interest in the line. We’ll see what Mattel has coming at the New York Comic Con next month, but I’m not getting my hopes up.
Can someone tell me what scene Id find Polly Puddlejumper in? My little guy is dying to see her in the movie.
She is in the final race scene. She King’s biggest fan. You have to look closely because she isn’t on screen for very long.
Where in that scene? During the intros before the race? Before or after the Radiator Springs Crew shows up? Where is she? Infield? Seats?
FYI – I have seen the new Brian the souvenier seller with the teeth released but he was released under the name Buck the Tooth Vendor

I noticed on Pixar Wiki they have a 2009 ultimate cars gift pack blu-ray + dvd + 2 exclusive car set gold ransburg mcqueen and red ransburg rescue mater. Heard any thing about this or maybe a release date?
I found the answer myself. This will be available at Best Buy on Nov. 10 for 44.99. Good luck everyone.

I was thrilled to find it.Keep up the great work.I’m amazed at how much info you come up with to begin with.I try all the time to get inside info only as a collector,and not to resell.Didn’t mean anything about 2007 except that the posts are still there.
No problem. Yes I run it myself. I don’t have advertisers so I don’t have to post crap stuff everyday just to drive up page views. I only post about stuff that is on the shelves now and stuff that is known to be coming.
I am thankful for all my readers. I do it for myself but also to help you guys. It is a hobby of mine. I will try to update this page to get all the latest ones on here.
I also heard that Rescue Squad Mater is showing up at TRU so look for those!
I’m curious why sometimes this site goes days without any updates? As a consumed collector I can’t get enough information and chatter about new,old and upcoming cars and events.Some of this stuff goes back to 2007. I love this site and would just like to see a little more. thanks
Mainly because I am busy. I have a full time job plus a family (with a 6 month old baby) at home. I update the site when I can. Sometimes it does get neglected, but I try to keep it as up to date as possible.
If you notice you will see a gallery on the home page from the San Diego Comic Con last week of Cars that are coming out the rest of this year and next. Can I get more up to date than that?
I don’t post every rumor on the net, and sometimes there is not a lot of information to come by. Right now there is not a lot of new stuff coming out, but if you read my recent posts you will see all the new stuff that is coming soon.
What would you like to know, and maybe I can help you. I am curious to know what you are talking about being out of date from 2007.

Costanzo should be out in 2009. He is on the 2009 collector guide. I don’t think any new Cars will be Lenticular, only the already released ones, but who knows.
Labpawsx12, Michael Schumacher is the red Ferrari that shows up at Luigi’s tire store at the end of the movie. In reality, Schumacher IS Ferrari, and that is his own voice…..check the voice credits.
Who is Michael Schumacher? I saw he was coming out in Italian Packaging on the Release H.

I have some cars that are not in the 2009 Collectors Guide. How come? I like the style of the book but I am looking for a guide set up with pictures and the names with ALL of the cars. Any idea?
I try to keep the site up to date as much as possible, but I don’t have a set schedule.

No Apple Car single or pit crew set has been announced yet, although it will probably be released eventually. My guess is it will be an exclusive.
No release date has been announced for Nurse Mia and Tia. An Apple Car hauler has not yet been announced.
Anyone know when nurse mia and tia are coming out in New Zealand. is there an apple hauler coming soon the apple car probably wont come out separatly in quite a while though.

Right now in 2008 I am a 40 year old woman who for many years has always had a second car – for fun! I go to car shows and have a huge appreciation for cars as old or older than me
My son is 4 and we both LOVE Cars the movie and I buy the Cars Merchandise more for me than for my son! So when Cars 2 is ready – so will I be!
All these new diecast shown here are worth collecting! I wonder if any of them will come out in the future? We shall see…

On Cars the toys I found 4 new crew chiefs (Leak Less, Spare Mint,RPM, and Shiny Wax)!
This site was OK its just that I’ve already seen these cars the forklifts i saw on a page like this and the crew chiefs and race damaged king and tumble weed weed mcqueen and the trunkfresh pit launcher and patti i saw on another site.

Hi from New Zealand, we are very slowly getting some of the cars cars but seem to be abit behind. Unfortunately we do not have alot of choice of where to go for cars, we do not have walmart, toys r us etc. The most recent cars that I have found are Tow the towtruck, ghost light ramone, race offical tom and my name is chuck. Just one question one of the towtrucks that I bought does not have eyes on it. Is this common or just a mistake and should I hang onto it.
Try Shayansales on ebay UK, I buy my stuff direct from them, all their cars are the US versions not European. Their postage charge is very cheap, and always gives me combined postage discount, very fast on shipping too. Have tried a quite a few ebay sellers, but this is my preferred seller by a long way.
I always used to pop into TRU, main supermarkets and disney stores, but never ever found the latest models or what I was looking for. And lets face it, in London where I live, it costs more to go find these cars, when you look at petrol/travel costs, parking costs, etc etc, and still find nothing at the end of the day. I eventually just resorted to finding a good deal on ebay. I mean, to pay £1.95 for postage is damn cheaper than to waste my time and pay extortionate fuel prices over here, and pay parking on high street and shopping centres car parks.
It’s pretty easy to get hold of a lot of Cars in the UK. Toys R Us, Tescos, Sainsburys, Asda, Woolworths and The Entertainer all stock them. Bear in mind that in the UK we are well behind the US on releases. However Tescos apparently get their stock direct from the US rather than stock the “official” european releases, so you can be lucky. Unless you are desperate for particular cars, I wouldn’t recommend the ebay or amazon route as postage is a killer. You’d do better to buy direct from some of the online US sellers. My girlfriend has just bought a Blu-Ray McQueen from ErrorCars.com and postage from the states was only around a fiver.
I don’t know of any off hand. I would suggest my sponsors eBay and Cars for a Dollar, which also shows eBay listings. I hope that helps. If my readers know of any maybe they can help by leaving them in the comments.
