One more addition to the collection today. I found Props McGee (#5 in the Toons Mega Size line) at Target today (Kingston, MA). I did not find anything at Toys R Us today. They did have the new Race Day 5 pack, but I passed on it at $19.99.
Not much luck today…..I only found a Bling Bling Chase at Walmart. I’m still looking for Donna from Case D and it looks like Case E will be out soon.
Found a new Case D today at Target. I picked up the Donna that I needed. I have extras now if anyone needs these.

What a day. Target: One Eyed Mater, Nick Stickers, and Donna Pits. Wal-mart: Daredevil McQueen and Buck Tooth the Vendor. TRU: 5 pack with new green flag Tom and varient Highway Trooper. I guess the snow melted in Atlanta and the trucks were able to roll south to Albany.
I found Buck the Tooth Vendor and Daredevil Mcqueen tonight at Target. These are both in the Mega-size Toon line.
I hope coop’s supply trucks are heading this way. Had to go to Big Lots today looking for items for a Boy Scout training session this weekend. Saw Cars on wall at $3. They had Todd, Pattie, Chuck, Andrea, amd Ham so check your Big Lots this week. TRU had 5 pack with green flag truck but even I won’t spend $20 to get a green flag to go with my yellow and checkered. From Southwest Georgia.
Today was a good day for new finds. I picked up one more of the newest Final Lap cars. I found Nick.
Then at Walmart I found the Ramone Chase. I also picked up the new card back Sally.
Then at Kmart I picked up Dragon McQueen and Yokoza. They were on sale too! I also found some of the Kmart Day cars too.
I found the brand new Mega Size TJ at Target today. It comes 2 to a case. The case also includes Lightning Storm McQueen and Chick Hicks Semi.
Is this the same as the one from the Toys R Us exclusive Sarge’s Boot Camp boxset?
I do believe it is the same car. It is #18 in the Mega Size line and it is on the night time card.
I couldn’t believe it but I found a Dragon Lightning McQueen and Yokoza at Walmart today.
I found Color Changers Brand New Mater, Dinoco Lightning Mcqueen, Tex Dinoco, and Doc Hudson at Wal-Mart today.
Yeah!!!! One-eyed Mater has made his way to the Boston area (Hanover, MA). He was the only new Final Lap car left when I got there. So I’m still on the hunt for the others.
Picked up the Rescue Mater 4-Pack from Disney Store today. The Disney Store Cars stuff are 1:43 scale and do have some very nice detail.
Machesney Park, IL Target had Props McGee mega sized ‘Toon “Car” today. Looks like a repainted Barney Stormin. I think it’s already available in a 4-pack….but this is the 1st time I’ve seen it solo. Not much new for a while.
Found both Greater Mater 4 packs at TRU in Albany, Georgia today. Wal-mart has the car carrier Mack with Bug Mouth McQueen for $19.99 Push down on cab to make him talk. I passed on it. I will probaby get the one we are looking for with the side panels.
I picked up the new Disney Store Tokyo Mater and Dragon McQueen. It is a very nice piece. The store had not put them out yet but I asked the nice lady there and she went out back and found it.
The Rescue Mater 4-pack was not in yet, but she said it should there next week.
Target had Christmas toys at 75% off this morning. Included were single story tellers at $1.62 each. 3 packs were still at 50%.
I found one of the Mater the Greater 4 packs at Toys R Us this week.
Today, I found Final Lap Muddy McQueen, Pit Crew Sarge and Costanzo Della Corsa at Target.
I picked up the Mater the Greater 4 pack (High Dive/Canmnnonball) at Toys R Us the other night. I couldn’t believe they were $24.99. But I didn’t want to wait to find it somewhere else.
I found the DJ Ransburg Chase tonight at Walmart.
If you are looking for this car at Walmart, make sure you check all the end caps and not just the regular toy aisle. I found an end cap full of new lenticulars and all the MTT’s.
The Mood Spring hauler was in St. Augustine today, I guess the teams are starting to move to Daytona for next month’s season opener..
I found the Mater the Greater The Aviator at a Kmart last night. It would not ring up, so the cashier asked a manager how much it was. And the guy said “I don’t know….how’s $4.99?”
So I agreed. It was the only one in the store.
Gotta go watch the Winter Classic at Fenway!!
One Target in Minnetonka, MN had a TON of the new Storybook singles and 3 packs on clearance for half price. I also ran into the new cars minus DJ chase. I also agree that the color change cars are really ugly.
The TRU in the area had the Mater the Greater sets (plane, scuba). They are really cool but they were pretty banged up so I passed.

I found four “Color Changers” at my local Target. Just add water and they change color. They had Chick Hick, Ramone, Sarge and Lightning.
Rockford Illinois Target had Muddy Face McQueen, Pit Crew Sarge, the green car with the Italian name and Chase DJ. They also had color change cars, but the look horrible and should be canceled along with that dumb mini adventures line.
It was shelf-stocking day for the 2 Targets near me.(South of Boston) I picked up the Cartrip chase at each of the stores. I have been looking for this one for a while.
Well that was easy. I found Costanzo today at Target. I’m up to date on the Final Lap Cars.
If anyone is looking for the new storytellers…Target has them on clearance already. The 3 packs are marked down to 10.48.
I saw the color changers at Walmart today too. I will not be collecting these. This Walmart also just put out 4 trays of old Look My Eyes Change Cars (Chick Hicks chase & King chase). So I don’t expect to find Cartrip or DJ chase anytime soon. Oh well. I’ll keep hunting.

DJ chase was at Albany and St. Augustine targets on the 24th along with the color changes. DJ was on sale at $3.50 and when I got home I was surprized to see the lightning trim was now green and not blue like on the orginal; I could see he had the smoother paint job. So I guess I’m back to hunting down all future chase cars.
The price reduction on the story tellers surprized me because I only saw 1 shipment with the new cars during the whole season. I still needed a Show Girls for the grandson and now I’m not sure anymore are coming. If the stock contol number was changed to seperate the new from the old we have a chance. If not the new story tellers might be quite limited.

I found Cars Change Colors. There are four of them. You put water on them (like the hotwheels) and they change color. Pretty cool but kind of expensive. I think they’re over $6 each. Starting to bug me how much they’re all becoming. Use to be $2.49 to $2.99. Now they’re way more. Somebody is definitely getting paid. I keep saying i’m going to stop collecting them because of how much it costs now and I still do. Its crazy.
Found 2 out of the three new Final Lap Cars at Target tonight. Suprisingly there were 2 Pit Crew Sarges and 1 Muddy McQueen left at 7pm tonight. I’m sure I’ll find the other this weekend.
Found Ransburg Cartrip at Wal-Mart in Rockford, Ill. Wal-Mart has way too many old cars on the shelves, it might be difficult for them to put out the new stuff with all the old stuff clogging up shelf space.
Found the chase Ransburg Darrell Cartrip at Walmart today. I’m pretty close to being caught up now.

The new Ransburg DJ chase is out. I found it at Toys R Us today. I also found the new mega size series with Richard Clayton Kensington.
I found the Sidewall Shine Hauler at Target this morning. Then this afternoon I picked up the Toys R Us Sidewall Shine Car on Ebay. There seems to be a new supply of these cars now. The price is down from over $100.00 to around $20.00, which is what it would have cost to get it through the promotion.
Found Final Lap Antonio Muy Excellente and Dexter Hoover at Target today!
I found Team Octane Gain at Target today. It is the 1st team set in the new packaging.
I also found a Snow Day Sally. I had this already but I can never leave a Sally when I see one.
If anyone needs a Sally just let me know and we can work out a trade.
New Story Tellers hit South Georgia this morning. Got 2 of each except the “Girls”. Grandson has to hope for a second shipment or his Mom going out in St. Augustine. I guess the cousins are from the Wii Game. (The little jerks that keep pushing Mater around on the track.) Not sure how Bubba fits in the story but he is “BIG”.
The Story Tellers series 1 (2008) and series 2 (2009) are all form the same World of Cars storybook that was released last year.
The new Storytellers finally made it to the Boston area today. I picked up one of each and an extra Bubba. I really like that one.
I saw the Walmart Cube today. It had the Walmart Hauler and other haulers on one side. (only Mack, Chick Hicks & King) There were MTT singles on another side (only the first 6). MTT Mega size (nothing new) on another side and a whole bunch of Look My Eyes Move Cars on the other. They were all from the case with King Chase. There were about 6 or 7 King Chase Cars. There was only one Sally. I bought that one. I always grab Sally when I see it in the wild.
I also found Spare O Mint Launcher at Target as well as another Sally. (Boston area)
Today was a good day for finding some new Cars stuff. I picked up a Fiber Fuel Launchers at one Target and Antonio in the Final Lap series at another Target. I also picked up a Red/Stanley in the Race-O-Rama packaging. I always grab Red when I see one in the wild. (Boston area) I also found a Soaked Lightning McQueen in the Toon series at a Walmart. This car looks just like Burnt McQueen except for the nameplate. If you look really, really close you can see some water bubbles on his hood. I don’t think this car was necessary, but I had to get it anyway. Collect them all !!
Could’t agree more about soaked Mcqueen.What gets me is that the final lap series cost $4.99 for what?
It’s because they are a Target exclusive and now Target can charge whatever they want. I don’t like these exclusive deals because it takes away the price competition.
My “Soaked” has a little different mouth and some soot washed away from his mouth area. I figure if I buy every other varient why not this one. I can see these difference easier than the rubber tires on all my K-mart racers (I count them as duplicates). I’m currently at 237 different vehicles so what’s one more. (338 counting duplicates from multi-packs and 4 extra Charlie Checker with red lights, 5 extra Dale Jr., rubber tires, etc.)

Found soaked Mcqueen today but can’t tell any difference between him and Burnt Mcqueen except the name label.

I found a Fiber Fuel launcher at Target. Also keep a look out at Target for the new exclusive View Zeen pack. I also found a Cartrip chase at TRU.
RPM and No Stall Haulers at Janesville WI Target…plenty too…check the back end caps. Also Rockford IL Kmarts are getting “Look” cars in foreign language packaging.
Found No Stall hauler and RPM hauler at Target today. And they were on sale for 9.99.
Found the new Black Mack hauler with “Pink” Mcqueen and Sally at Walmart tonight. Also picked up the Mater the Greater 1/55 set at Disney Store.

I found mater saves christmas singles today at toys r us. They come in a round christmas globe, quite fetching for the holiday season.Also found the motorama girls and maters cousins in singles at Target.
Found “Mater Saves Christmas” box set at Target. There were 2 left, so I bought both. They did not have any singles out yet. I also found Saluting Sarge at the same Target.

Today at Target I found the Final Lap Cars and Polly Puddlejumper, but no Blowing Bubbles Mater or Skip Ricter. They also had the Mater Saves Christmas storybook. It was in the book section on a display with other Christmas books.
Hi, Today (10/13) I found Gil the dark green hauler at Kohls and Gordman’s near Chicago, and I saw a few Final lap Bubbles mater, Ricter and Polly as well as a High Dive Mater at a Chicago area Target. I am still seeing Todd Pizza Planet and Patti at Big Lots. Later
Another local Target today had the Final Lap Cars but there was only one Radiator Springs left. They also had the Rescue Squad Mater Cars and box sets.
I know that this isn’t that big of a score, but found a Mega Size Octane Gain Semi at a local TRU in New Jersey. Another one for the collection.
I found the Pit Crew Team box sets at Target today but no Final Lap Cars.
Found a speedway 4-pack at Target today that included Chick, Lighting, Sparemint and Fiber Fuel who I was really excited to get.
TRU ad was correct! They had Nurse GTO, the Orderlies, Rescue Cop, Burnt Mater single, and Greater Mater pitties with lug wrench (Their names are Lug and Nutty) on sale for 3.49 each when buying 2.
Checked the price scanner on Wednesday night at Target. Hit ‘clear’ then use the black numbers on the right side to enter the stock # then hit ‘enter’. Found out that the pit crew sets and final laps were in stockroom. Went back on Thursday morning and a nice girl got them for me in the back. Checked TRU on Friday morning and found Sarge’s Off-road camp. So with 2 sets each its been about $230 so far; but I’m trilled and happy. The grandson should being feeling the same when he gets his on the 16th.

I went to 2 Targets today and I checked the scanner. Both stores had the pit crew sets and the final lap cars. A nice girl at each store galdly went out back and brought me the goods.

I found a mega size Cannonball Mater @ Kmart in Branson, MO a few days ago. Pretty cool.

I found the Mater Tall Tales singles and the 4 packs at KMART tonight. I also found Gil. This Kmart had more Cars than I had ever seen before. Looks like they might be getting into the game finally.
I actually found the new Toons cars and the Mater rescue squad packs at KMart.
I found Sarge’s Boot Camp at Toys R Us today for $29.99. They also had the 2 Rescue Squad Mater Box sets for $22.99 each.

Picked up the two Rescue Mater scene packs at TRU. Mater fire truck and the Dr. Mater. Very cool.

Just finished my daily trip of the big 4. TRU had the Mater Rescue Squad 4 packs. At $22.99 each I was able to get mine and the grandson’s Dr. Mater with nurse Mia and Tia and poor Burnt McQueen plus Fire Engine Mater, dalmations Mia and Tia with Rescue Copter. Now we can show the grandson his SDCC set and let him open the Car Toons set. We knew a four year old wouldn’t understand not opening the SDCC.
I scored the complete set of rescue mater at toys-r-us today in Fairview Heights Illinois then found movie moments chick hicks and bruiser bukowski and filmore and whitewalls mcqueen at target in St. Louis. My wallet hurts but it was a great day for my collection.
If you live near a Gordman’s department store they are now getting Sven and some of the lenticular cars.
Sears in Rockford, Illinois had some of the K-Mart Cars collector days cars on a rack in the boys clothing department.
If you still need a Todd Pizza Planet truck, Andrea, Patti, Impound McQueen or Chuck Manifold they are now showing up at Big Lots/Odd Lots.
First 3 Mater Rescue packs have shown up in LA (Lower Alabama) and SOWEGA (Southwest Georgia) at the TRUs. Found a set in Dothan and Albany for me and the grandson. Looks like each store got 2 Rescue Mater, 2 Ambulances, and 2 helicopters.

The Target resets a going on this week. As they restock the new locations they are putting out doubles with PT and Flea, Gaspin and Tow Cap as well as King and Mr. King. This was true here in Albany and in St. Augustine. Sven also came out of the stockroom.
I got 2 and my daughter got 2 Mater Rescue SDCC form Matty. Now we’ll watch the mail or UPS.
I found the Retread launcher at Target. I believe that is the only new one in that case. I also found the Trunk Fresh Hauler.
At Walmart, I found the remnants of the Dinoco Showgirls case, but not the Dinoco Showgirls 3 pack itself.
Found a brand new case on the floor at Walmart in Mass tonight. Picked up the Dinoco Mcqueen with Piston Cup and 2 Sarges.
Went to Columbus today, 2 Wal-marts visited. Both had new lenticulars with Guido pit-crew. He was cute but I didn’t buy. Saw Dinoco McQueen with Piston Cup; very well done trophy but I left it also. One Wal-mart had the Show Girls and one had 3 Sarges which surprised me since Ft. Benning is in Columbus and alot of retired and active Master Sargeants.
My son-in-law was traveling from Atlanta to St. Augustine and needed a present. Sent him to Tifton Wal-mart where he found the Show Girls also.
Kohl’s did have lenticular eyes and I found the last Sarge I needed. But at 4.99 and 10% off today for 4.49 they are the store of last choice.

Trunk Fresh haulers finally pulled into the Targets of Southwest Georgia today. Got 2.
I found the new Megas Hummer Sven and No Stall Semi at Target today. I forgot to mention that No Stall Semi is another Semi we have gotten before the Hauler. RPM is the other one.
I found the new 3 packs at Walmart. I picked up Chick fans Mia and Tia and Spare O Mint.
I also noticed that the lenticular eye changing Cars are at Toys R Us now.

found the lenticular cars at westheimer at dunvale. Stil had some on wednesday, didn’t look there today.
Also found them at spring cypress and 249,
but they were all gone today.
saw frank at both stores, didnt see any today.
also found retread and shiny wax launchers at target woodlands 2 weeks ago saturday.
haven’t seen anything at willobrook in months.

Went to Columbus, Georgia today ;2 K-mart’s, 1 TRU, 1 Target and 4 Walmarts. Pickings were slim found 1 Pattie and the new 3 packs for Shiney Wax and Spare O Mint. Just needed the Pitties like all of us. Most stores were low on stock. Only one Walmart and TRU had a decent inventory level.
Today I found: Two packages of Chick Fan Mia & Tia with Chick (will sell one for right price), as well as Team Shiny Wax and Team Spare-O-Mint. BTW…I also have a SPareMint in package (NIMP) from the first KMart Collector Days. The package is slightly dented, otherwise MINT.

Yes I check every day, the good side of being retired. Today I almost had another heart attack, no not another Sarge but P.T. Flea and Flix at the Target store and I got them on sale. I can now say I have them all except for the new ones still coming to my town. My buddy at Target checked the stockroom but found no more.
I have gone out of my way to straighten the shelves at each store and to talk to the manager or a key person. I’m seen bring in carts from the parking lot that are in the middle of the road. I talk to every clerk I see. I’m not a nucience I’m that guy that collects Cars for himself and his grandsons. Work it and become their friends not their enemy.
Yes the Target contact will be watching for more P.T.’s and Flixs for me. Yes the K-mart man knows the 20th is coming and I’ll be there. Yes the TRU manager says hello to me everytime I’m in the store. I have people helping me because I help them.

Over the past few days I found at TRU in Ft. Lauderdale: Patti, Todd (Pizza Planet delivery truck) and Chuck Manifold. At Target in Ft. Lauderdale, found Easy Idle! Also seeing more Tank Coat, Vitoline, Shifty Drug, and Leak Less launchers than usual. I must be getting there too late and missing out on Retread and\or Shiny Wax. Anyone see the new Haulers, i.e. Shiny, No Stall, RPM, etc?
Found Easy Idle, Fiber Fuel, and Mood Springs launchers at Target this morning. Price has gone up to $9.89. Went to Wal-mart next here in Albany, Georgia and discovered their price for launchers went up since yesterday to $9.97.

Elvis is in the building! Found Elvis RV at Wal-Mart in Knoxville, TN.
Last month found, and bought. Tank Coat and Vitoline launchers. Saw, and did not buy, Shifty Drug. Then found all haulers in first wave (including Jerry recycled Batteries) Two weeks ago I bought Elvis RV, and recently bought Lightning McQueen w\Night Viision Goggles and Collector’s Guide. Today’s “BIG FIND” was MOOD SPRINGS & FIBER FUEL launchers at Target located in Broward Mall, Plantation (Ft. Lauderdale area) Florida…I was so excited I actually called my wife to tell her! Up next: the hunt for the EASY IDLE launcher & RPM, Trunk Fresh, Shiny Wax, NitroAde and No Stall Haulers…and FRANK, of course!
Got ahold of the Tank Coat Launcher in Minneapolis.
Elvis was found in Tifton, Georgia today at Wal-mart. Their distribution center is in Douglas, Georgia so the lower half of Georgia should be good hunting grounds for the other King.
Finally found RPM Semi at Toys R Us. First time we have the Semi before we have the trailer!
Found Shifty Drug and Vitoline launchers at Toys R Us today. Saw Octaine Gain haulers there too.
Toys R Us online is show a lot of the haulers in stock.
Also found Jerry “Recycled” Batteries at Wal-Mart in Knoxville today.
Visiting the Grandson in St. Augustine. Target had 2 RPM Semi’s (Didn’t buy because I’ll wait for the hauler) so Elvis was in the house but not when I got there. We then stopped by K-mart where I found the Race-o-rama checkout aisle size packages and there was Mario with Red Wheels. So he does exist and maybe the Chase package will also be red wheels giving all of us 2 shots at him.
I found Jerry “Recycled” Batteries today at Toys R Us in Knoxville, TN. They also had the new Race O Rama No Stall 3 pack.
Was able to open 3 cases Monday, all the same. It had Andrea, Milton and the Chuki chase. I do hope they would change the box size so that the Cars would fit better instead of getting the corners bent. Also found the Elvis Rv and the Vitolene and Shifty Drug launchers.
skid solo here, wish I lived in the USof A, here in the UK and Ireland we seem miles behind, spotted ron hover and kathy copter in Asda,(think I bought their supply and they havnt been replenished), the pink piitty in Disney store, chick and his pitty in Smyths (mind you for £8.99 didnt buy as i,ve already got chick), also spotted a few new launchers at Toys are us, but at £8.99 I gave these a miss too, plus I think they are pretty crappy

You guys are lucky who found cars at Wal-Mart. Here in Ohio I have not seen ANY cars except for the mini ones for almost two months at Wal-Mart.
Target seems to be the place to buy them right now.

I was able to pick up Milton yesterday at Wal-Mart in Bryant, AR. I believe that he only comes one to a case so good luck on finding him. He’s a tough one!

I found NitroAid Pitty and Chuck Manifold at Target in Ohio.
My computer is being repaired so I’ve had to borrow one and go to Krystal’s (That’s a southern White Castle). About a week ago I was in north Florida at a Wal-mart and found a new 3 pack. Mater with both of the pitties for Chick Hicks. Yes it had Brukowski plus the wider body Chick Hick’s Pitty. Price was about $10.49. The haulers must also be coming out in mini. Have seen Mack and Chick Hick’s so far.
At Target today in the Easter aisle I found Easter eggs with Lightning (6), Charlie Checker (2), Chief Spare Mint (2), and Chief Shiney Wax (2). They were $5.99 so that’s quite a premium for the egg. Earlier this week my Wal-mart had Octain Gain Hauller.

I found Wally Hauler at my Walmart today in Knoxville, TN. They had several of those but no other haulers.
Burnt Lightning McQueen should be from the “Rescue Squad Mater” short from Mater’s Tall Tales on the Disney Channel.
I was on the toysand games.com website. They have where you can pre-order “Burnt” Lightning McQueen. It’s number 112. Is that odd?

Visiting the grandson in St. Augustine. Today we found the Wal-mart haulers along with Leakless and Jerry Re-cycled battery haulers at Wal-mart in Jacksonville. It looks like a case in 3 Wal-marts, a Jerry, a Leakless, and a Lightning.
Later this week we will be back in Daytona Beach, Orlando, and Tampa.

Found 2 Dustin Mellows in MN for $3 at Wal-Mart
Albany, GA K-mart had 3 pack gift sets (2 of each). Finish Line McQueen-King-Chick, Dinoco Lighting-Mia-Tia, and Lightning-Guido-Luigi(with four nice stacks of spares 2 with whitewalls) at 11.99. TRU had another shipment of Mega’s with 2 Dustin Mellows. All new since Tuesday.
No I didn’t spend 11.99 to get the tires, but I thought about it.
I found an oversized Al Oft at WalMart in Roland Park, KS with a clearence sticker for $3.00.

I found all three haulers as well as Oversized Dustin Mellow and Barney Stormin at Wal-Mart in Rockford, Illinois. The oversized figures where on the new package that has the “MEGA SIZE” sticker on the bubble.
Last week, I found all 3 case A haulers, and the Night Vision McQueen with Collectors Guide at Wal-Mart in Knoxville, TN.
Today, at the same store, they had mega size case C with Dustin Mellows, and Dustin Mellows was very plentiful.

This is great; it was always hard to find the best spot to put such news. From Nico5’s information I now tell my shopping partners (daughters and son) where to go shopping this week. I also use your case listings to tell my shoppers when an old Cars will appear first in a Race-a-rama package, I call them indicators that a new case is in and dig until you find the one or two we need from that case. This Cars collecting has turned into a job! But I love it.
